I actually got the idea to buy the EX FC100 from a friend of mine who is a professional photographer. He has trillion dollar cameras and tripods, and all that "camera bug" stuff!

I told him that I was in the market for a digital camera that was pretty much "idiot proof", that shot good video and took good pictures. He suggested that I look at the Panasonic FZ35 and DMC-ZS3 models.

So I started reading reviews on all three models, and scouted out good deals as well. Finally. I arrived at my decision, I chose the EX FC100! Amazon customers had given it good reviews, and it was being offered by Amazon at a super low price, so I went for it.

I have been using it for about 6 weeks now, which is long enough to point out some of the features that I really like!

EX FC100- Check Out These Cool Features!

Super High Speed Burst Shooting

The EX FC100 can take up to 30 shots per second of high-resolution 6.0-megapixel images. Also, it can save up to 25 frames before the shutter button is actually pressed, consequently if the photographer presses the shutter a little late, the essence of the shot will not be missed.

The number of shots per second can be set at 30, 15, 10, 5, 3 or auto, also the shooter can set the total number of shots in one burst at 30, 20, 10 or 5.

Great Digital And Optical Zooms!

The EX FC100 features 20x total zoom along with a CMOS shift stabilization, which creates gorgeous images, regardless of how high the zoom is. Normally at high zoom, images frequently blur.

Handy Pre Record Function

The Casio EX FC100 allows high-speed recording of events that happen prior to pressing the shutter button. The EX-FC100 gives users the opportunity to capture just the right shot, even if they press the button too late.

With this remarkable pre-record feature, the camera starts shooting before you completely press the button. The EX FC100is capable of storing up to 30 images in a buffer on the camera so that you never miss a shot!

High Resolution Slow Motion

Should the user so desire, simply by pressing a button during shooting, they can watch the movement of the subject in slow motion on the LCD monitor.

It is also possible to press the shutter while watching the LCD monitor, picking just the right moment to capture from a scene that looks as if time has slowed to a crawl.
